uk-ti.me is a set of small time tools that run in a web browser: alarm clocks for every minute of the day, countdown timers, a stopwatch, live countdowns, date calculators, a calendar and the UK bank holiday lists. There is nothing to download and nothing to install. Everything happens on the page in front of you.

No accounts, and no reason to have them

You are never asked to register, sign in, or hand over an email address. That is not a feature waiting to be built — it is the point. A timer does not need to know who you are in order to count to twelve minutes, and a site that does not collect anything cannot lose anything.

Because the tools run in your browser, they read the clock on your own device rather than one on a server. That is why the time shown always agrees with your phone or laptop, including the summer time adjustment it has already made for you. It also fixes the one limitation worth being blunt about: the tab has to stay open. Close it, quit the browser, or let the machine go to sleep, and the alarm will not sound. Silent mode and a muted tab will stop the noise just as effectively. These are the boundaries browsers put around web pages, not defects in the tools, and anything you genuinely cannot afford to miss should be set on a proper alarm app instead.

British by design

The calendar and holiday pages are written for the United Kingdom specifically, which matters more than it sounds. England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland keep three different bank holiday lists, so a working-day count that treats the UK as one calendar will be wrong for somebody. The clocks change on the last Sundays of March and October, and the pages here follow those rules rather than an imported approximation of them.

The site is maintained by one operator rather than a company, and it grows a tool at a time as gaps become obvious. If something is missing or looks wrong, the contact page explains how to say so.
